Teleconference

The Teleconference Feature allows for 5 people to be in the same call at the same time.

What it does

The objective of the Teleconference feature is to allow for an Expert to call other users, in case the RemoteUser needs extra assistance from multiple Experts, or something needs to be coordinated with a second RemoteUser.

Teleconference Features

  • A teleconference call can have a maximum of 5 participants at the same time.

  • Each participant can mute / unmute their microphone.

  • Each participant can enable / disable their video feed.

  • Each participant can converse in the Chat.

  • Each participant can add or remove PDFs, images and small videos.

  • Each participant can view Media content.

  • Each participant can view and modify the Ticket Details.

  • Up until 5 participants have been added, each participant can add other participants. This is not limited to GroupAdmins or Experts, a RemoteUser can also add participants.

Teleconference Call View

The Toolbar on the top provides you with information on the amount of participants, and the names of the participants.

Otherwise the Teleconference Call View resembles the regular Call View, i.e. it has the following icons

  • Add Participant - You can add a new participant to the call, until you have a maximum of 5 participants

  • Share Screen - Share any app or your whole screen with the other members of the Teleconference.

  • Enable Pointers - This feature is disabled during Teleconference call.

  • Upload Attachments - This allows you to upload PDFs, Images and small video files, they can be viewed by other participants.

  • View Ticket Information - This will allow you to view and edit the Ticket Details and view the Media during the call.

  • Chat - In case any members are in loud environments, or wish to make sure that details such as serial numbers are kept safe and there is no loss of details.

Adding Participants

When you click on the Add Participant icon, you'll see a list divided in two. At the top you'll see all the members already participating in the teleconference call. At the bottom you'll see a Search bar and a list with a scrollbar of Users that can be added to the call.

Click on Add to start a call to that specific user. The view will change to "Adding user..."

After the User you called has answered, they will be added to the teleconference call. The amount of Participants will go up by +1.

Otherwise the Call is 1:1 with the regular Call View features.
