Switching Users with RealWear

Brief instructions on how to switch users with RealWear Glasses

This page details how to log out of XReach on your RealWear Glasses so that you are able to log in with the user account you wish to use.

Logging in

If you are not already logged in, say Login to be logged in.

Reset to Default

After successfully logging into XReach, you will be presented with the Ticket List View. Here you can now say Toggle Menu to get to the User menu.

After saying Toggle Menu, you will then say Settings to get to the Settings.

Now, after saying Settings, you will be able to say Reset credentials.

You will see a dialog that asks Reset login details? You will answer Reset.

After that you will see a Login form with blank textfields. You might see only Email and Password, or Email, Password and Server. This depends on your environment.

Say Email

and use your RealWear Companion app on your mobile device to access the Remote Keyboard feature. Type in your Email address, and press OK on your mobile device.

Now, on your RealWear Glasses, say Scan Code.

The result will be that your Email address textfield will be filled.

Now say Password.

Again use your RealWear Companion app on your mobile device to access the Remote Keyboard feature. Type in your Password, and press OK on your mobile device.

Now, on your RealWear Glasses, say Scan Code.

The result will be that your Password textfield will be filled.

Skip if Server not visible: If you see the Server textfield, say Server and again use the RealWear Companion app, type in the Server, press Ok and then say Scan Code on your Glasses.

Say Login.

The Login button will not become enabled unless the password you have input includes lowercase and UPPERCASE letters, numbers and special characters. If you have difficulties with inputting password, we suggest clicking on Forgot Password? and setting a password that will be easier to type in.

You are now logged in with your RemoteUser account that you wished to be logged in with.
